Any pokemon with a Psychic attack and typing was basically a winner in Gen 1 with 1/5th of all pokemon being poison type; and then also fighting types. Freaking Butterfree carried me through that game with confusion when I was 10. And I kept wondering why you'd use anything else. | ||

Agreed, he also used Onix twice so Pidgeotto would be a bad choice as it would just rock throw/slide it out of the sky. Kadabra/Alakazam could just kill it with Psychic with it's low Special (Defence) stat. If SoO advances we have perfect racial balance.. so let's go with him and Bomber because he won the Season 2 finals :D | ||

Haha this is so true, the whole Weevil (which was actually more annoying than Caterpie)/Kakuna/Beedrill line looked so much more dangerous, but then once you get Butterfree it was like the game saying "Good job sticking with him for an hour, here's an instakill attack on the next 300 opponents or so." Really inspirational stuff right there, that maybe the seemingly weaker might end up being stronger :D | ||
