Not really surprising. There really are no advantages for top Korean players to stay in Korea anymore. There used to be the $50,000 GSL seasons, but with the WCS system, winning the Korean season gives you the same amount of money as if you win the European or American season. In the end, everything is about making it to Blizzcon, and what is the best way to make it to Blizzcon? Go to as many foreign tournaments as possible and accumulate points/money. On a KeSPA team, you're tethered to Proleague schedule and have to go through strenuous qualifiers to have a chance to go to these tournaments. On Acer, he can go to any foreign tournament he wants, pick any region he wants for 2014, and he can go the Jaedong/Polt route of racking up WCS points without having to go through the always changing and challenging Korean region.

Plus going out and about may help him develop emotions.

TLDR Fion not impressed. International scene is where it's at, only natural.
Pretty crazy to see the 'best player in the world' ? to join a foreign team though. Can't wait to see him at other events outside korea
