This I feel is a major major point. It's not just the talent of the player, but also whether they are willing to make the move to a KeSPA teamhouse. You're going to be alone training day and night in a foreign country. Sure its not the worst thing in the world, but to leave behind what you're familiar with isn't a change that most players can just do. Also, from a player perspective you're going to isolate yourself from the rest of the scene. Tickets from Korea are expensive, and its going to be difficult for your team to justify the cost to let you attend tournaments if you can't consistently get top 4, a difficulty regardless of how good the player is.

While the TL Koreans have a good record against ROOT, if I recall correctly ROOT > EG 3:2 in the most recent MCSL and majOr generally only loses to Koreans and really good Europeans.
