For my anti-team I used Zenio because I think he is the saffest for an anti-team, he loses a lot against foreigners and I don't remember the last time he won a boX against a competent opponent. Bisu because he seems to lose a lot on sc2, and Fantasy because I needed a 6 points player, so I picked him because he is terran so I figured it would be the safest amongst the 6 points players.
Wait, what? When will Zenio be playing against foreigners? And ballsy putting two (big name) SKT players on your anti.

Also, I picked hero because I think he will be a stalwart for liquid EG and he has shown great ability to adapt. Anti Team 5 Jaehoon 4 Light 4 Shine I let the light shine on Jaehoon's lack of skillz.

Flash, RorO and Bbyong are a pretty good deal all on the same team. Flash will play every week and in ace matches as will RorO, and Bbyong is the first kespa dude to qualify for code s on his own.

What I say is that he lost so much against foreigners that I consider him bad. About Fantasy yeah I know he is supposed to be good but there is the 13min limit so I'm forced to pick somebody. Might as well be a terran.

Main Team 6 Fantasy 2 Sea 5 Last 3 Puma (captain) 8 Soulkey 3 Wooki 3 Woongjin Stars
Anti Team 3 Hydra 6 hyvaa 4 Mini
I chose not to take Taeja, Hero or Stephano because I feel they won't be playing too many matches in the PL (due to an emphasis on international tournaments). While Stephano is great, I feel this preparing style isn't his strong suit.
I chose Fantasy and Soulkey because I feel they're great at preparing for a specific match-up (Soulkey taking down Life twice; he even said himself he studied his opponent extensively). Fantasy, on the other hand, I'm hoping he'll be amazing (after saying SC2 fits him better than BW). I feel Fantasy was undervalued.
I went for Puma and Idra (I feel Idra was a great value; Puma also). Puma has a style where he can be unpredictable in his style, which is great for BO1. Had Idra originally, but switched him for Sea. We've seen Sea become better and better from laddering. I feel he could be a lot better along the way.
Last/Wooki is a flip. I'm hopping Last will come out strong and hoping he might perform as an ace a few times.
Woongjin Stars is a given in my opinion. They are undervalued and they have great depth in their line-up.
On the Anti-Team, I thought of adding Bisu, but I'm taking a risk since I believe everyone will take him. Hoping he'll finally perform, haha.

Well for a start if the players are at the same level, the one who plays more will bring you more points. So I tried to work on that. Also in Baby I trust :D ( plz don't disappoint me like Killer last time ...zzzz ).
My milk cows are on Baby, SoO, and Hero[jOin], also hopefully Sea. Wooki is seems like a solid choice for a 3-pointer. Anti, well at first I want to put Bisu, but he'll likely to be fielded be SKT a lot, so I won't take my chance with him

Too many Zergs...
Main Team 3 Action 3 Crazy-Hydra 9 Effort (captain) 6 Flying 2 Mind 3 Sacsri 4 CJ Entus
Anti Team 4 Light 2 NaGi 7 Trap
Effort for PL's mvp With some luck I hope to be able to trade Flying for Taeja or someone else decent enough by week 2 or 3... I see a bright future for Sacsri, but I'm afraid that Action/Crazy-Hydra/Mind/all of them will let me down... Also, Trap on anti feels risky but chances are, he will be stomped in week 1. Furthermore, NaGi+Light will probably earn me more points than they will lose :D

Considering that Bisu (and Fantasy) will most likely be fielded every week, he is bound to win some. Also, SKT will probably be doing quite well, which will add even more negative ponts. Zenio might also turn out to be a shitty pick since EG-Liquid are somewhat of a favorite in most matches...

Regardless of his past performance, putting a player on your anti that will come out in every single match for 4 points and has the potential to get really good at any time seems like a bad idea to me ;o
You only break even on points for your anti team if the player comes out and loses, if he comes out and wins you lose 3 points. Bisu is highly unlikely to play in any ace matches so you will never gain points from him. You also lose 1 point every time SKT T1 wins a match.
You're basically betting on him going 0-8 in this round and for SKT to lose a lot.
|
I would rather put Bisu on main team rather than anti-team... he is more of break-out / proleague player and SKT1 should get many wins regardless
Bisu has a potential to become very good bo1 player unlike his bo3/bo5 failings.

some peoples anti teams really make me think they haven't quite understood the points system. Yes it says predict which players will slump compared with their current rating, but it also says aim to keep the points (minimum 13) as low as possible.
People putting like Bogus, Soulkey and Stork in their anti team? Hello?

Main Team 4 Bisu 3 Huk 4 JYP 5 Reality 7 Stephano (captain) 3 ThorZain 4 [tlpd#teams##sc2-korean]CJ Entus[/tlpd]
Anti Team 9 Effort 8 RorO 5 Stats
Captain stephano because i trust EG's coach to use him as ace for at least half of their games.
CJ entus is so underrated, watch as they surprise us with those underdog wins.
Effort, roro and stats seem to have too much hype around them, if any at all.
Bisu, Huk and JYP because they will definitely do semi-well against other kespa a-teamers (if you know what i mean)
Reality, stephano and thorzain are my only confidence picks. The rest are expected to not lose points
