Was wondering why so many of the comments were about how funny hot_bid was, then I finally got around to watching the videos and lol-ed quite a few times hahahhaa. Great job HB - this weekend was probably super long for you but seriously good stuff with all the coverage you guys did <3

hot_bit may get the laughs but his mkp interview would have been pretty lack luster without a translator! give yourself a pat on the back too.

The Sundance interview blew me away. He convinced me here that he does GET it. Maybe his hands were tied with the $20 thing, and he had to take a lot of heat for it, but the way he talked about the different mindset between the months long GSL tournament and the compact weekend long MLG tournament showed a level of understanding about the game that most TL posters don't even have. How many times have we heard people blame the upsets on jet lag? Not once did he blame it on jet lag. Color me impressed.

His attitude towards Barcrafts and restreams is unheard of for an executive. I just can't hate the guy after this. Mind blown.

That's just logic; nothing innovative man with regards to his thoughts on the upsets and format.

Nice chat with SD. He is a very articulate individual (something we already knew a while ago), but when it comes to implementation. He's learning on the fly as he tries to break new ground. It would be nice to see his thoughts transition into better delivery & execution. They did a lot of things on the fly and considering MLG is one of the few spots I like to binge on. I wish them all the best.

With regards to the restreamers, barcrafters, etc. He understands it will always be there and they don't have the measures to fight it at the moment. What did you expect out of him?

Like I said many times over when it comes to the schedule and planning sessions. It's time to have a Summit with the biggest organizers, teams and player reps to deliver a World Circuit to get around scheduling conflicts. It might be time to abolish long winded seasons and stick to an American format. This could work as the World Circuit would become the actual season and this would go a long way to legitimize standings and rankings of players all over the world.

It's time.
