So the tileset looks the same, but I think they just changed the lighting. I remember learning about lighting modularity a while back.
I REALLY hope this exists, because so many maps are dark with 'sunset' type shadows. I think it would be sweet to have some high-noon maps. It would especially be more clear to play/observe. EG: shakuras plateau and metalopolis seem too dark to me.

Hmm I'm having similar trouble and repeated tries doesn't get me in. Sometimes I get GLOBAL_INTERNAL_ERROR error message, other times it says bnet is down, and still other times it shows me my character icon and stuff, and when I press continue it kicks me off immediately.

Well, I think we can pretty certainly assume that this indicates the patch is coming. So that's cool :D
