day9 should totally stream one of his own games for a change, to prove that he can use all of his lessons in practice

(not like he really needs to prove it, but would be fun anyway, would be nice to hear his thoughts on strategic choices he himself makes).

If he plays he has to prove it. There will be a shitstorm if he doesnt live up to the expectations of various people. And most likely he will not, because he's not GSL S-class level (due to other stuff being more important to him (casting, daily, college stuff, ...)).

I wanna see him play, partly because, it seems like he never gets to play because of such busy life. But I totally understand that he wouldn't be in tip top shape because of all that, but your right, we are on the internet, nothing but mean people that would give him a hard time....

Actually - for me, the best daily day[9] has done by far is the one where he coached djWheat. I gained a massive insight into some basic errors in what I focused on during matches. I'd love to see an expanded series of coaching sessions - djWheat is a good laugh too.

I'd like to see him play a few practice matches with a pro, while recording his first person view. That way he could pick one that is good (without any pressure to mess it up live) and then watch it on a daily, explaining his mechanics and the thought process while doing stuff.

Pros just have these insane mechanics and it's hard to learn that part from watching replays or streams, because they do stuff crazy fast without commentary. Maybe he could even share a story about himself or ask other pros how they trained to get that fast. I always go back into lazy mode..can't help it I'm lazy. xD

On a side note don't expect to much from your telephone company technican on friday. When I moved in it took 3 of them 4 weeks to figure out that my appartment had a perfectly fine phoneline, but a retarded 'monkey' had removed the box and wallpapered the wire..that was fun, but not the only thing that the previous owner ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. ^^;

Has there been a live daily on wednesday? I really wouldnt mind if dailies were only 3 days a week or something, as it seems hes getting a little bit too busy to handle everything.

I heard on SoTG that he was a really nervous person when he played in important BW matches. I don't think he will ever play seriously on his stream because of this. You may not care if he wins or loses but I can guarantee you that their are a large number of people who will just use it as an excuse to flame him. Way to much pressure and very little gain. Sure he makes people happy, but people are happy with what he does anyway. I think another daily of him coaching another player would be awesome though, I agree with the sentiment that the daily of him coaching was one of the top5 of all time in terms of usefulness.

For people looking for vids of day9 playing 1v1 there are some on YouTube of him playing his brother tasteless. In one he does quite a good job of containing nick with Phoenix although I think he loses. He plays random in those sets of games but spawns Protoss each time.

You can tell from watching them that he doesn't have super well polished skills, a testament to how busy he is, but you can definitely see how all the thinking he does about the game benefits his play.

BTW Day your Aussie accent on Monday is better than mine! Thanks for te lolz!
