Characters don't get a name until they prove themselves in combat. My Destroyer Lord may have earned one that time he solo'd a Crisis Suit commander and a Riptide, but I couldn't think of any at the time.
Monolith is still in pieces, but this glue is much more solid than the one I was using before, so I'll likely give it another shot on Friday (tomorrow is game night). It'll be surgical work, but hopefully I can piece it back together.

Blade and Soul is a mmo that supposedly maybe someday going to be released Stateside. Kinda a martial arts-ish active combat combo system as I recall. Friend is still pretty excited about it for some odd reason.

1. physical characters gain magic stats because some weapons are magic-scaling instead of strength-scaling. This will play into Mist's advantage once she gets.... a fucking B in swords. Sigh. God knows how long that will take. 2. Mist gains strength because she can use swords The Levin Sword is weird like that lol. Doesn't help that they changed it from dual ranged casting of Thunder/Elthunder and melee to always magic for the DS games.

Well despite everything, Mist is very good at what she does.
She reminds me of Clarine from FE6. Not an offensive powerhouse, but the S rank in staff and the speed makes her very useful.
It is extremely odd that Mist and Ike do not support each other though.

A (once) highly anticipated and failes MMO. Not sure if it will ever come to NA now.

It's currently on crunchy roll and the only reason I have to watch it is that the main character kinda resembles Riven.

The game sucked IIRC. It basically had no end game, so people played for like 100 hours then quitted.

What are some must watch anime movies? As I'm tending to a puppy at daytime I have some time when he sleeps that I should really use to study...

Man, the Forgeworld stuff is so good, I'd totally consider Elysian or Kriegers if I played standard Guard. But this is a Scions army, baby. The Ordo Tempestus, specifically the 44th Lambdic Dragons.

Must be movies? Standalone movies?

I just watched Time of Eve like 2 days ago, and really enjoyed that.

Hmm pretty much - I don't want too long-term character involvement. I guess up to three episodes would be OK though.

Dear Requizen,
Thank you so much for posting pictures of the Imperial Guard. As far as I'm concerned now, you are a living saint and can do no wrong.
Sincerely, Frudgey

I enjoyed Jin-Roh and several of the Miyasaki. Not sure if GitS movies qualify s "not long-term character development"? I haven't watched that many movies thinking about it... Although I certainly forgot some that I'd remember as soon as I'd hear the name.

Ghibli stuff is good. Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. Ghost in the Shell movies are all amazing. Innocence can be done on it's own to an extent. There's the Puella Madoka movies as well with the first 2 being about 6 eps each of the series and the last movie being completely new.
There's also stuff like 5 Centimeters Per Second which is romance and Patema Inverted - Sakasama no Patema which is scifi. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is romance too and pretty cool.

Movies, eh? Um, I have a list back on my computer but not here at work. Most Ghibli/Miyazaki are pretty good, though those are the standard ones.
The original Ghost in the Shell is a fucking masterpiece
Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal is wonderful, you don't need to watch/read anything Kenshin to enjoy it.
Akira is a classic but... a bit dated and if you're read the manga it can kinda hurt.
Summer Wars is pretty cool
5 centimeters per second is another one that gets thrown around a lot
Sword of the Samurai is awesome
You can watch the Evangelion movies, since they technically count :D
Uh can't think of any others off the top of my head

I watched Samurai X first. Needless to say, I was greatly let down by Kenshin.
I never watched Gundam Wing, but Endless Waltz was enjoyable.
