Seems like the person who wrote the Liquipedia entry for the tournament misunderstood Carmac's explanation about the tie-breaker tules:
Tiebreakers
Use “total bo3-wins” -> “map score (6 : 3 > 6 : 4 > 5 : 3 etc)” -> “direct bo3-wins among tied” -> “direct map score among tied” -> “one round of decider matches bo1 or 3” -> “coin toss”
It seems it is after all:
1. Overall matches won
2. Overall map score
3. Matches won among tied players
4. Map score among tied players
5. Decider match
6. Coin toss
I'll update this to Liquipedia for clarity.
