woop woop scarlett!
Zest, sOs, PartinG, Dark, and Maru are the real champs. ROOT_herO is overrated. Snute, Serral, and Scarlett are the foreigner GOATs

...what?

Terran pushes -> liberators turf mutas out -> not enough banes to kill bio and mutas can't do anything.

Scarlett played around it and took the game. I'm pretty confused by Major first over committing to the tank push then under-committing to the follow up. But that was absolutely a dominant performance by Scarlett.

wow it's actually been quite a while since Scarlett won something. Feels like she wins things all the time somehow lol. Makes this win even better I guess

Anyway was a good finals to watch, lots of action

He was 50 supply down and his bio army was tiny due to overmaking liberators. Even in a direct engagement Scarlett rolls him over unless miraculous mine shots happened.

All mine shots are miraculous it's why you get them

Major should have attacked sooner and should have had his mines and his army forward.

At the time of writing Scarlett wasn't up 50 supply. She was up marginally in a mostly ling muta army. That was the opportunity. Mines, liberators, marines, medivacs, everything was there.

Thanks everyone for tuning in!

We've done our best in hosting WESG and we're really happy about how this event went. If only there were less tech issues in Kyiv, WESG would be an awesome experience for all StarCraft fans. However, we hope that American finals will help you to save good memories about World Electornic Sports Games in general and about StarLadder hosting SC2 events in particular.

Feel free to provide any sorts of feedback here. Good luck & have fun, watch and support StarCraft 2 - see you next time!

Good event overall but why is the prize ceremony like this? It's just kind of odd, doing all the prizes for all games and interviewing everyone is going to take forever lol

Thank you for hosting, casting, and the improvement over Kyiv! I enjoyed watching. Thanks!

Game on King Sejong Station. MajOr opens with 4 hellions and double banshee harass; doesn't end up doing much damage. Scarlett gets distracted and doesn't break down the rocks, but holds off the tank push easily nevertheless. She goes into ling/bane/muta, but majOr scouts it early and goes for a lot of liberators. He pressures the fourth but isn't too successful due to an upgrade deficit. Scarlett does a lot of damage with a huge ling/bane runby severely supply blocking majOr and killing a bunch of SCVs. MajOr goes for another push but another ling/bane runby devastates his bases, and what's left of his ground army gets overrun.
