Let's take a moment to remember that Polt has actually won a tournament this year. very different field of competition though You can only beat who you play against. Maru didn't qualify for 3 out of 4 Korean leagues, he's not done anything outside of Proleague. Of course he won't make Blizzcon at this rate.

Even in the old WCS system it's unlikely he'd be making it.

Well if you made it to top 8 in July in Korea you are definitely a top contender for Blizzcon.

Well if you made it to top 8 in July in Korea you are definitely a top contender for Blizzcon. He's mostly top 8 because of points he got back in season 1 (those points are from March). It's not too likely he'll manage a repeat performance, which is what he probably needs. He's only 100 points above the cutoff atm.

Yeah, I forgot the money part, though the difference between first and second place is not very huge. If this game will affect season playoffs ranking, it will be much better.

Yeah I guess Jin Air don't have much to prove. Maybe the stage in Shanghai will give them incentive to give it their all. At least KT is still chasing that win in all-kill against Jin Air so they should be trying.
