Damn, it would be so awesome, if the super old guard (anypro, Tester, Maka) would be come back at some point and kick a few asses.

Zest is best. PvP does what Zest wants it to. I would consider him the exception rather than the norm. Kind of like Jaedong and his ZvZ. Same gamble I feel. ZvZ ain't random bro This might be true in a BoX or history with an opponent, but ZvZ is pretty coin flippy between early pools/hatches or playing safe. As unless you're considerably better than your opponent: early pool > hatch first > safe > early pool that's false though, "safe" doesn't die to hatch first and hatch first doesn't die to early pools (unless the defending player fucks up) They aren't necessarily insta-wins, but they put the player at a pretty significant advantage. Assuming they are otherwise relatively equal players, then the BO advantage typically leads to a win eventually. That's not TRUE at all. It depends a lot on how the builds play out. For example if you go 15 H 17 G 16 P vs the safe 9 pool into 3 min gas into expo and the lings don't kill enough workers you can come out AHEAD even though you went hatch first, and if you commit too much to killing workers hatch survives and 15 hatch player also comes out ahead as long he microes drones correctly. 9 pool vs pool first isn't that great for pool first on small maps if pool first spends their larva on drones (not doing so is very very expensive vs hatch first and you don't need to do it to save the hatch most of the time). If it's a map like merry go round (small rush distance, uncertain spawn) 9 pool becomes stronger because going pool first AND scouting it on time is less likely.

And then nobody cared about aLive.
