Well there was nothing to question in KT sending Zest out. He is the GSL-champion and not sending him out would be madness.
The problem was wasting TY against Effort. They should had kept him and had another extra life vs Bbyong. I mean, they could had sent Zest vs Effort already to take care of him. Then there had been one random player from CJ left, probably Bbyong vs Zest + 2 choices from KT, probably still had sent Stats and I guess Ty, but the way they handled it left them without options.

If CJ win the finals, R4 will have almost no impact for the final playoffs (meaning WHO the top4 will be, only the order of Top4 will be decided)

It would take a minor miracle but one of Samsung/MVP/IM could potentially make the playoffs still.

I thought exactly the same. But yeah, we don't know the behind the scenes. Particularly, I don't think TY can handle the pressure of being ace / last man; however I still think they should have sent Stats first and then TY...
...well it doesn't matter now  I have to move from cursing CJ to cheering for them next Tuesday -.-

Wow, went to bed half way through the match last night(after effort beat flash) and wake up to CJ pulling off another miracle win. Props CJ it is your time to win.

I just can't understand how a championship caliber player like Zest can FAIL in such an epic fashion, against a drop that came at a reasonable timing, coming from a TWO BASE Terran.
It's not like Zest got caught by surprise, he saw it with the Observer just as the Medivac was leaving the Terran base. His build was very standard marco, going Robo Forge into Colossus, with Cannons in his mineral lines.
It might be a tall order to not suffer any loss, but losing 22 Probes like that is just mind boggling.

Zest mostly avoided PvT in his GSL win. It's his weakest matchup by far.
Plus Bbyong is like top3 TvP player in the world, Zest isn't nowhere near top3 PvT

AFAIK he thought it was going to be a mine drop, and he also didn't see the 6-8 hellions. That's why he had 4 obs instead of like 2 and an immo or something like that... Plus bbyong traditionally uses a lot of mine drops in his play
