Stephano vs Petreaus was a game. Incontrol likes SH vs SH games.

One, it's all fun and games, which is cool, and many people like that. But generally speaking, on teamliquid most people are "Woo eSports", and letting stuff like this through makes eSports and Starcraft 2 a completely laughing stock. Can you imagine how pathetic this would look if this was your first time watching Starcraft2? You don't attract people like this. Very disappointed. Starcraft isn't attracting new people since a long time, so it's kinda okay if what it is amuse the poeple who already watch it. So the downfall of Starcraft according to you then, is a fanbase that do not care about attracting new players and keeping the scene alive. Well then, I guess argument over if that approach is to be taken. dude, i think you might need to go pet a dog or hug a baby or something

Everyone has been all happy because the casters have been cracking jokes the entire game, but please, if this tournament has any seriousness and professionalism, Petraeus should be DQ 100%. If this tournament was serious you wouldn't have the admins tell the players that if the game reaches two hours they will call it a stalemate even though that wasn't the rule / isn't what happened. Didn't that happen in another tournament in a SH vs SH play where the admins called the game. I don't remember the details but they called the game because they rules one of the player was playing for a draw. I have no problem with tournaments doing things like that as long as the players know going in that the admins will call the game a win for a player or a draw if the game becomes a drawn out stalemate. My main issue is that an admin shouldn't say anything in chat unless its gospel. Doing otherwise is just unprofessional.

Everyone has been all happy because the casters have been cracking jokes the entire game, but please, if this tournament has any seriousness and professionalism, Petraeus should be DQ 100%. Well it does sound like it was more of an issue than just putting that option on, especially considering the message they are posting on the stream. Then why haven't players like Idra been spammed during tournaments? There must be a countermeasure to this that everyone takes, so this doesn't happen. It's not like Battle.net is just acting different for one player exactly right now. I'm guessing you are not a programmer? ![]() I've taken enough C++ and other computer programming courses in uni to know a bit about it. And there is no explanation why this would be the first instance of it not working. You don't need any computer science knowledge to understand that anyway. Hopefully tournaments clarify their rules on calling a draw from now on. And by clarify I mean before a game starts, not 90 minutes in. I'd assume that a joke of a tournament is going to have joke sponsors too. The sponsors definitely wont be getting money from me when a tournament looks bad. And I agree with you, it's bad what they did, but it is what it is.
