Seems brackets are the only way that foreigners can qualify or make it far in a tournament these days.

Yeah, if LzGaMeR didn't beat Comet who knows if Tassadar would have made it this far. [image loading]

Sound is still jetlagged from MLG. You can't be sure.

doesn't change his nationality and as you might have been able to recognize there is no region lock in the WCS.

Honestly, I think this qualifier bracket is harder than the recent Code A bracket. This does offer 4 chances though. But I think the Kespa/ESF players would have had a better chance staying in Korea imo. Then again, once you get Challenger/Premier League here it's a lot easier to maintain/advance so I guess it's a risk worth taking for a lot.

So..?
What's the difference?

As if that was a legitimate reason for that in the first place.

Not sure if stupid or just trolling... O.o
Or maybe you just consider Koreas C-players as a harder bracket than Code A?
Take a look at the players

Just ask JYP. He was so happy he chose Korea in his interview when he qualified.

It's probably your ignorance. To get Code A you had to win 2 or 3 matches.

To get Challenger League in WCS NA you have to win 6. The player pool at the Code A qualifiers wasn't all that impressive either. Perhaps slightly better compared to these qualifiers.

Well, kespa teams dont send their players to tournaments like these normally. Thats why it is strange. I wonder if they the players that are here have/are going to retire from their teams.
