No they do have a clear policy. Its against the rules. There are a list of possible sanctions.

Pro players consider themselves above such cheesy play. Losing to cannon rushes is something that noobs do, they aren't noobs so why would they practice defending it? The logos on their shirt and channeled energy from stream viewers will protect them.

Hope you are right, Hyun got the heart-vote, but Sound still the head-vote. Can't wait Hyun will probably win even though I want Sound to win D:

An admin has tweeted that it is within the rules. There are two contradictory rules. They don't have a fucking clue what their policy is here and are winging it.

So many things in eSports are still running largely on the honor system and if a player/group did decide to say "fuck ethics" they could wreak havoc. If the rules people posted earlier were accurate and applied to this MLG event, then it was clearly forbidden and the rules likely specify the kinds of punishments given as well. In any case there is nothing more to do this MLG, Catz and Kane are both out, and if Catz needs warning points or to be banned for an MLG or two, then that will happen, but there is no use in further discussing it till more information is presented.

Dunno why people care what Catz did, at least he's being upfront about it instead of 6 pooling 2x in a row

Does he just mean They can request, as in they can request whatever they like? A player may request that his opponents all have to wear cheeseburger hats.
