Insanely low level -_____-

Both players are nervous, get over it. Or go watch reruns of the GSL if you are craving some high level play.

aren't professionals supposed to be high level? that was like masters lvl at best

You prolly also expect teams from the third division in spain to compete easily with teams like Barcelona...

no, that's why there in the third division, they're not as good as the top pros, hence why you don't see the third division on Sky

Exactly : here you replace division with the different stages, and you can skip 'til playoffs, nobody forces you.

Man...why don't tournaments ever show the brackets. The production value of this event so far is phenomenal. But still, I want to know what's happening on one of the other bajillion streams? I need to visit Liquipedia. Not that I have anything against LP, but it's still more inconvenient than having it on stream.

Right now, there's a music broadcast with the same camera angle for minutes. Why not insert brackets? Or, if that is somehow to expensive to do, then why don't the casters ever mention anything?

"In other games X has won vs Y 2:1, Z beat A 2:0, etc etc..."

Seriously, drop it.

We know there is a gap. We know Western players aren't as good as Koreans.

Still, people want to watch them. Like people want to watch only KR games. No need to constantly bash (plus it seems both of them weren't on top of their game).

It sounds like when Bomber make a mistake, and people call him bad...

Totally agree, it is kind of disgusting that people call Ret and Grubby "insanely low level" just because they aren't playing like Life or Parting, most of the people spouting that kind of thing couldn't beat Ret or Grubby on their very worst days.

To be brutally honest it doesn't really help when Artosis keeps saying that Ret is one of the best zergs in the world.
(one of the best foreign zergs sure but not korean standard)

This music, oh man. Even if I hate it, it's always the right choice.

How is this Ret fault ... ? There's no doubt about the fact that Ret was sometimes amongst the top non-kr Zerg. (IMO, never been the best non-kr zerg in the world, but still very good).

Just because Artosis called him arguably with this title doesn't mean he went worse all of a sudden :p

I think the Crowd wouldn't be as hyped if Artosis started shouting "HERE COMES RET, ok he isn't on the level of the top koreans but on the grand scheme of things he is a pretty good player and he can take games off them and occasionaly a series"

Depends on how you define one of the best in the world. In my book everyone in the top 50 or so in the world can be called 'among the best in the world', and Ret may or may not be in such a bracket.
