He's trying to keep the match interesting instead of just saying "well, we're gonna watch him slowly die". SC2 vets know what's happening anyway, and comebacks (or potential comebacks) are exciting for new players/new viewers/girlfriends. What the SC2 community needs to realize is that not everything is tailored to the "low-mid Masters TL regular" that everyone seems to be (or says they are).
I agree, its a good thing they don't go for the 'expect a gg any minute now' routine (oh wait :D). But these tactics of artificially infusing a storyline where there isn't one can get tiring fast. I believe most people listen to that 3 to 5 times and then start to catch on. You want new viewers, but you also want them to stay.
