MOD NOTE: The bracket on Liquipedia is not final and should be assumed to be speculative. If you are a competitor, trust what MLG Admins tell you over the bracket. |

MLG knowing.. they will cast from replays which sux donkey####... hopefully they saw the potential from livecasting this event, like ESL did, which from viewerstandpoint was awesome (with a few glitches here and there)

It's ambiguous on that point. Could be either way.

I am predicting SickZergBro to take this.

iaguz, Fenner and Ninja aren't in brackets. Am I misunderstanding something or didn't pro players get guaranteed entry into the bracket?

He shouldn't be though, based on his performance in 2012 he shouldn't even be near the seeds. Too bad that he took someone else spot :/ yeah, it really is disgusting to see blizzard stuck with the same players just because they're popular instead of helping the NA scene grow the newcomers

come on, lets start the games :D

Staring at the blank screen for an hour. Hearing about ppl getting DQ right before brackets are up, and Blizzard saying they didn't expect so many players to sign up. Re-rolling the brackets for the third time now?
I can't believe Blizzard screwed up their last chance get a foothold on the eSports scene. Really expected much from the WCS since they made a hype about announcing it in Korea.

If EG-TL manages to win in monday proleague after having most of their players do this 1-2 day 8-12 hour ordeal, im going to be pretty surprised. Yes, it's incredibly stupid that they're trying for the NA WCS. Should've manned up and stayed with GSL.

They're only hard when you're trying to use a garbage bracket system suited to team console FPS like Gamebattles. Had MLG had any brain and used challonge or even z33k this shit would be started already. I really hope they give up any sort of notion of Gamebattles ever being a thing in SC2, unless they completely overhaul the design. For instance I can search a 'member' by their Xbox Live or PSN id but absolutely nothing for battlenet or SC2 id. It's so dumb and awkward. For the WCS to be such a huge thing, MLG opting to use a system not even designed for 1v1 matches just shows how incompetent/arrogant they are, sadly.

Guys relax, they are just waiting for games to finish so they can broadcast from replays :D

Brackets are up and the win/loss reporting page is broken on their site.
My opponent doesn't exist.

Well the rules are a bit fuzzy still.. but u could be right. The way i interprete everything is that once u did GSL code A/S/qualiefier.. u cant qualify in same season for other region. Yes huyn can play the qualifier for next season, not this season... right?

Actually for the past 3-4 LAN events MLG has started on-time every time give or take 5 minutes. They're been much better than most in that regard.

I don't like it either but this "manned up" stuff is idiotic. This is their job. They're competing in the easier qualifiers because, hey, they like getting paid more over paid less. They're just trying to make the best of a pretty crappy situation, just like everyone else.
