Maru was completely unprepared for that.
If it was only that - he was the epitome of greed ^_^

Yeah, it was the CC positioning that lost him that. Clearly.

Well that was anticlimactic. Smart play by Soulkey tho, scout 3rd capitalize on that. Only way that was cheesy is if he planned to bust him no matter what.

His defence was horrible, wasting tons of larvae on Zerglings instead of getting a Roach Warren, one Spine + 1-2 Roaches per mineral line and containing Maru's natural with 4-5 Roaches before peacefully resuming 100% drone production.

That was kinda boring to watch. Surely from a player perspective you would want to give the viewers more than a 6 minute all in to watch? lol

If Maru had done basically any other build he might've had a chance. But with that much greed...yeah, that's just flipping a coin.

As soon as I scout a 3rd CC that early on ladder, I do not think twice before putting the baneling nest down !

Does it matter if it's cheesy or not?

when zergs get all-inned, they're not building 4 hatcheries before their pool. 3 cc at 4 minutes should be able to be punished every time. unfortunately, it isn't.

These kespa zergs don't know how to play at all. Just cheese every time. They've even shifted the meta to the extent that the god-like Life invented the whole ling-bane all-in that he used against Flash.
+ Show Spoiler +Nice preparation Soulkey. I was afraid he'd not be familiar with Prime terrans

After the first drop Maru was only behind by like 5 workers even though he hadn't even finished his 2nd CC yet.
