You cannot call him mid tier, he's way better than that.
haha so true ^^ polt is an AMAZING terran, calling him mid tier terran cleary shows us that u dont know this race very well ^^

Life did over extend at the end of that game. He should have regrouped his units and went in one last time instead of sending in a few small groups streaming in to die. Im not sure he could have won anyways though I think that hidden base gave polt the game. The thing with drops is just the speed that marauders can destroy those bases I mean its gone in like 5 seconds and the zerg if he is too far even if he sees it ends up losing it by the time he gets back.

yeah, that can stop them from landing briefly but there's little opportunity for zerg to actually take out an established expansion unless the player brings their entire army to siege it, and in the meantime the terran can take out 2 expos with some medivac drops while even potentially defending theirs. perhaps life's mistake was in allowing polt to set up the expansions in the first place, though it's kinda difficult to attack into a defended position unless z has a t3 army composition

MVP with some misteps in game five from MC's all in cost MVP in the end
MC also used those oracle to harass workers and slow the eco of MVP's. MC got 10 to 15 scv kills with a few oracles alone. well worth the investment in game 3 for MC.

Polt is very mid-tier these days. http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/sc2-korean/players/1856_Polt/gamesTheres tons of terran who can do what he does only better.
Yeah. If you're even looking at what you just linked you'd notice that unless your "high tier" is only 1% of all pro players (so like 3 terrans) then he's not mid-tier
