The usual: Don't flame casters or players. Don't discuss balance in this or any LR thread. Don't call your fellow posters idiots. Be excited, happy and entertained.

It's not often that foreigners don't take a set off Koreans the entire tournament, is it?

It's also not often that Korea sends the best of the best for every race to a single foreign tournament, however.

And the foreigners don't send NaNiwa and Scarlett. That can't help.

send? Weren't all these spots earned through qualifiers?

Yes. Scarlett chose not to attempt to qualify and I have no idea what happened to Naniwa. I think he lost.

naniwa declined the invite as well.

Like I said, i don't know how anyone could've looked at the MLG brackets, seen the KESPA and eSF pros that were attending and thought the foreigners had even the slightest chance of doing well.

I doubt very many people thought any foreigner actually had a chance to win, but that's not the same thing as foreigners not even taking a single match vs Koreans. I'm pretty sure that's never happened in a non-Korean based tournament.

It's not just about the plane trip guys. At his age in Korea they don't stay up this late.

I think this is completely incorrect. The time on the clock is irrelevant to Life. His body is lagged and exposed to being awake at hours in which his Circadian rhythms don't want him to be, and that's the problem.

That's making a massive assumption that none of these guys make an effort to adjust. Every athlete has a program they do in order to deal with this. Unless he just got off the plane the very same day then I guess this does not apply. But more than physically, he's disciplined to sleep are a particular time.

Yes. Scarlett chose not to attempt to qualify and I have no idea what happened to Naniwa. I think he lost.

MLG people said Naniwa, Vortix, and Lucifron among others turned down spots in the qualifiers in the original announcement thread for the showdowns

So Stephano qualified.... and then probably 3 out of the top 10 foreigners, including two of the top three, chose not to qualify. Dominance by Korea is somewhat explained.
