The whole "theory" thing doesn't work because your tanks will be unsieged thanks to brood lords and your ground army will be busy stuck behind an endless wall of broodlings. true, they don't outrange fungal but lately i have been seeing more and more terrans engaging brood lords with sieged tanks to zone out the fungals also, in the game you are referring i believe going bc would have been the correct choice if he prepared the tech properly and scouted the ultra transition i believe that adding bc into the late game TvZ composition is necessary and I don't feel corruptors can easily deal with them unless they are out of position i expect to see yamato cannons when the meta game develops a little more | ||

Problem is that it is very map dependent. You need maps that you can split to get to 5 bases with narrow attack paths so you can siege behind a choke point. The prime example is metropolis. On most other maps, you cannot turtle well enough once Zerg has BL/infestor to actually transition to BCs. | ||
