He's one of the only Zergs to hold the wonwonwon from a top-tier Protoss in the last month. it can't be the wonwonwon if it''s not parting executing it. Only parting has enough soul to run the Soul Train! Yes I've already stated this twice in the thread. He can attempt it though I guess. At least that is better than LOL BUILD COLOSSI 50 BILLION TRILLION STALKERS AND IMMORTALS AND SMASH YOU WHILE YOU TECH TO STUFF THAT CAN TRADE EVEN WITH MY ARMY. No really I'm sure the pre-Hive will get more figured out (beyond gimping your own tech to trade even, nice suggestion people) but right now its just so boring and soul-crushing when Rain plays it that way. Eh, all these pre-hive timings are more interesting than broodlord infestor. I'd like to see pre-hive timings hit a zerg that doesn't actually go hive and hits 4-5 bases with oldschool roach hydra corruptor. I'd like to see some Protoss (like Rain) continue to innovate in the late-game but of course that is too much to ask. Problem is that there is only so much 'innovation' you can do given the units. I mean even when we theorycraft where the protoss can control his units perfectly, the only 'solution' seems to be landing money vortexes. Did you see his match vs. DRG? Also, no one here is on a level where they can decisively say that he CANNOT innovate. We can however HOPE that he (and other Protoss) can -otherwise this game is only going to get more and more boring until HOTS. Well except when cool players like Life/Leenock play.
Don't you think he isn't TRYING? Why do you think he is always hitting these pre-hive timings? Because it gives him the best chance to win. The dude is trying to win a tournament. Not trying strategies that has a low chance of working.

YEAH RAIN!!!
At least one Protoss moves on...

3 base timing or die trying, what a slogan to have
|
Two amazing mirrors coming up! Polt v Heart and Naniwa v Rain!
|
Having watched rain over the past few days i feel he has come to SC2 with this thought:
"wait... stalkers are really good. why is no one else just massing them and winning?"

I don't think any zerg knows how to deal with Rain's 3base all-in

So, what's the deal with the observer and spastic circular mouvements?
|
|
I really wish Adebisi would stop moving the camera in that circular motion. It's extremely annoying.

Too bad Stephano isn't here
We could have had 2 foreigners in the top 12
It would be a defining moment for esports

was the third fully saturated and with gases?
|
how is zerg meant to defend that

Anyone know what happened to Crank and Daisy?
|
Polt vs Heart instead of Taeja vs Soulkey? Who the hell made that decision?
Re: Crank, he went to his hotel, having been told that his games were today by his management. There was a mistake of when games would be played.
Re: Daisy, not clear why he did not show up. I did not see why yet.

Gimme Taeja vs Soulkey ;o
