which map ?

Rain's Immortal Stalker 160 supply push is very strong. You don't have Collis which can be countered by Corrupters, and you can hit before Zerg can build an insane sunken wall, or get a ludicrous amount of Infestors. I think I might make it my PvZ staple build.

I'd like to see pre-hive timings hit a zerg that doesn't actually go hive and hits 4-5 bases with oldschool roach hydra corruptor. I'd like to see some Protoss (like Rain) continue to innovate in the late-game but of course that is too much to ask. lol watch Hero's lategame PvZ vs Leenock. It's hopeless, man. To be fair, what he was doing in that game was essentially basing his strategy around harrasment without a plan to use that harrasment to gain the ideal army (Carrier Templar).
I think if he had been threatening a base trade during that time, and then transitioned to carriers Grubby Style, he would've won.

Thanks to the 3 spines defending the other way. Very smart from soO. I'll do this on the ladder now.

u can't really innovate in late game because infestor counters every air unit too well, and every single ground unit is already used in every long game, in a given ratio that you can't really differ from.
you can gay out the game with turtling into carriers for special tactics but that's more for your own entertainment than for winning;)

Most of Hero's PvZs are depressing lately. He always does high pressure builds, warp-prism and zealots attacking all over the map, gets into nice late game compositions and then gets stomped. It's hard to watch, as I can't tell what he's doing wrong

Problem is that there is only so much 'innovation' you can do given the units. I mean even when we theorycraft where the protoss can control his units perfectly, the only 'solution' seems to be landing money vortexes.

I like Rain and he's got an enormous amount of talent but his style vs. Zerg just bores me. I hope he gets Roach all-inned and or 1/1/1'd out of this tournament for sure. What else is he supposed to do that isn't boring vs a competent Zerg? I personally prefer wonwonwon or something REALLY cheesy (mc timing/gateway all-in, 4 gate, etc.) over these 15 minute timings that involve making lots of units and then just obliterating your opponent. This is also why Rain is getting mangled by Leenock - he's kind of a one trick pony with these pre-Hive vulnerability timings. Good for him, but just boring for me to watch hence the whining. Rain doesn't have PartinG's soul tho. WonWonWon impossible. No one can WonWonWon like Parting though - he said so himself its useless even trying! Parting true Protoss President. Didn't Seed have soul-draining powers according to Fionn? He just needs to beat Parting once.
I think currently Life is the best soul-drainer, just look at what he's done to poor Taeja.

Failing an inmortal sentry all-in on Ohana is pretty much all you need to know when somebody doesn't have enough soul.

Or was it the other way around? I think we're on to something here.

Bomber vs Leenock, Flash vs Life.... thank god for two good matchups in TvZ in the winners side.
