All depends on who is on their game tomorrow. People underrate the randomness in players' performances.

Just to clear up any confusioin using an example of deductive logic:

Nightend beat Taeja

Taeja beat Stephano

Therefore, if anyone who beats someone who beat Stephano is better than Stephano, it follows that Nightend is better than Stephano, and if Stephano is the best foreigner, Nightend is now the best foreigner.

I love how my comment actually worked yesterday, lol.

Anyways (hopeful) predictions:

viOLet 2 - 1 VortiX

TheSTC 1 - 2 Elfi

ForGG 2 - 0 ClouD

NightEnD 1 - 2 Stephano

TaeJa 2 - 0 Bly

Moon 2 - 1 SaSe

HerO 1 - 2 Feast.

TargA 0 - 2 LucifroN

As for Ro8:

viOLet 2-1 Elfi
Stephano 2-0 ForGG
TaeJa 1-2 Moon
Feast 0-2 LucifroN

viOLet 2-0 Stephano
Moon 2-1 LucifroN

viOLet 3-1 Moon (Moon's ZvZ is so volatile that I am not even going to try to squeeze in an upset here against one of the best ZvZ in the world.

Taeja vs. ViOlet in finals, unless Stephano has figured out how to deal with ViOlet...

I'm thinking we'll have a korean vs. korean finals, and Stephano will get 3rd. I can't say for sure what each match would be though.

I think that this round is pretty straightforward:

Violet, STC, Forgg, Stephano, Taeja, Moon, Hero, Lucifron.
Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds!

Finals:

Cloud over forGG is just silly. Also, I think Moon would beat Taeja, but probably won't get passed Sase. Also, how could Hero beat Lucifron in Ro8, but then Lucifron lose to Taeja in Ro4?

Wha? It's the other way around Moon would get stomped by Taeja but he'll take down Sase with ease. Agree with you about fOrGG though. I don't think fOrGG has ever lost a BoX TvT to a foreigner and Cloud is hardly the caliber of player to break that streak.

Moon's play is ... well .. unorthodox. And so are his matches. He'll beat MC and Nada in a tourney and lose the final to Loner. Beat MVP and Xigua, lose to MacSed. He is an enigma. Its like he is not from this planet at all.

But there is only a 0.00001% chance he can beat Taeja.

edit: And facing a protoss living in Korea at the start of the day makes me think he won't even make it to Taeja

That was the old Moon. The new Moon is very consistent in terms of results. He beats the players he's supposed to beat and loses to the players he's supposed to lose to.

Wow, I am so sad for Nightend. He got so unlucky in this bracket. Facing Stephano must really be a bummer for him

But I guess If you are a pro you have to beat the best. Beating Tajea somehow feels less great than beating Stephano, the zvp monster.

People are so sure that Feast won't beat Hero that they forget IEM Kiev in which Feast defeated Hero 2 - 1
Feast 2 - 0ed Elfi yesterday and Feast 2 - 0ed ST Bomber in ritmix RSL 2 last week. the kid is on fire
Regarding Feast vs WhiteRa, Feast won the BO11 they did a few months ago then Feast 2-0ed whiteRa in Ritmix RSL 2.

He can do really well against hero i think

I like how everyone changes their vote from Stephano to Taeja in the poll once they realised Stephano lost to Taeja in group stages.

It's because the most recent memory before the tournament started was Stephano winning WCS EU. Naturally he gets overhyped after a win and everyone votes for him. Then after he plays vs Taeja everyone suddenly remember how godly Taeja is.

The mind of a starcraft fan is interesting indeed...
