normally it is 1. vs 2. from different groups ...but its kespa, could also be some ranking: nr 1 vs nr 8....

Yeah I don't see what Code S up/downs have to do with this, but yeah best of 1's are always terrible.

That being said, at least Code S up/downs have more players and therefore more games played (more opportunities to separate the better players).

it's all randomised except that;
only #1 from each group can play #2 and vice versa
two people from the same group cannot meet until the final

Is that really the format now? They did Bo5 quarterfinals last time, I liked it. Bo7 finals? I'm from BW so my first reaction is that this is too long, I rather liked the Bo5 finals. Maybe it will grow on me.

Flash played really solidly and knew that MC was going to try a 2base timing attack... Flash defended, and then MC didn't take down the vikings, so his colossi got picked off... which left him with unupgraded gateway units vs. upgraded bio lol. MC didn't play terribly, but Flash was pretty on par too.

expecting fanlings to tell who played up to standard is pretty much asking to get mislead. flash reading mc's pony trick pretty well is a clear case of outplay
