I agree, Bo3 for a finals isn't ideal.

I do understand why it's Bo3.

There is actually very little difference between bo3 / bo5 / bo7 mathematically (don't remember exact #, but it's like 3% difference between series wins assume 40/60 win prob split. To get 90% win for 60% map win would need Bo41 series). It's usually more of a view experience issue than a fairness issue.
