His splitting was anywhere from excellent to top notch. Not quite MKP level yet, but his tank positioning while he was splitting was very very very good.

You can tell. Flashes macro was flawless. He never missed a beat once. IIRC Nada reached Ro8 in GSL and Boxer reached Ro4 in GSL in less than 2 months practice. Sure sc2 was a newer game back then which helped, but you gotta remember that neither of those players had much of any RTS activity recently during that unlike these BW people. Also ForGG did kinda same thing. Point is that if same happens to these top BW players that switch to sc2, that has happened to every single other top BW so far that has made the switch, they will just pick up the game extreamly fast, but in long term they will not clearly outshine the scene.

He killed ~10 SCVs with his mutas, but that's never enough for the greedy build that Flash was starting with. The fast 3 CC builds have to be busted. Flash supply blocked himself for a minute that game and still out macro'd SoulKey. Yeah, he killed almost 20 SCVs with that, but soulkey was definitely way farther than 20 drones behind where he could have been with a more economic zerg build, especially with fast 3rd. At least in these games the players aren't making hilarious stupid mistakes like in the early proleague games. They definitely look good. and yes, I was watching that 81 supply block too. but that's life. Many current successful SC2 pros (puma...) hit heavy supply caps regularly.
