Or maybe the name GomTV has for it which is actually pretty accurate : "we give you a chance because you played well in other tournaments beating players that do well in GSL and we want to see also players that do not want to stay in Korea for years". And of course the goal is to increase revenue, does not change the fact that the seeds are just a different way of qualifying, more arbitrary way, but not the easiest one and definitely not undeserved one (and I am no saying that there weren't players more deserving, just that Polt and Naniwa also were deserving).
