His upgrades were also atrocious which really hurt the ability of the roaches to be cost efficient. | ||

But you cannot expect to push again and again while expanding very slowly and teching to hive at the 20 minute mark. Especially on antiga it should be the zergs aim to sit on the middle tower with BL infestor as soon as possible, it doesnt matter how u try to reach it. this way you can denie the protosses "natural" 4th and have unlimited mapcontrol. Seeing roach/ling/infestor 200/200 for 20 minutes and then suddenly losing to the slowly growing protoss ball just hurts my brain :/ | ||

But you absolutely need more bases (usually 2) and higher tech once it goes on into the late game, because there is NOTHING you can build that trades remotely efficiently vs colo/storm. | ||
