Not really. I started watching SC2, having only played some Halo on the weekends, and completely understood it. Same for a few of my friends. I don't even know what the goal in this game is or the general strategy

Yeah I've always liked watching fighting game streams, does anyone know if MvC3 has had its finals yet on the Devastation stream? MvC3 is coming after SF4 in half an hour, i think.
MvC?
I use that move that attacks the whole screen! ^_^

this is true, when i first started watching starcraft (No previous knowledge of any starcraft or RTS really ) i was super confused about what was going on, yet there was something about it that entertained me, so I tried to learn more about the game, and i did, and now i can get a lot more entertainment outta watching, now LoL, its not that entertaining to me, so I have no desire to learn more about it. Thats he difference between the two imo

Whenever there is off time you lose a lot of viewers and this Lol final has been going on forever. I heard Lol final would come up next and went off to watch a movie, now the Lol final is still going on.
Imagine people at barcraft events, what the hell can they do? Sit there for 2hours with their beer and watching Lol? Again, a great tournament, but this game switching is the wrong way.
I agree, thank you, however for being frustrated at the way that it is being show instead of Sc2, instead of hating on the game.
Stop hating on League, if you don't like it fine, we don't all need to read your opinion on why it is bad etc, instead focus your efforts into letting these event coordinators understand that we do NOT enjoy overlapping games on a single stream, keep them separate.

PLEEEAAASE stop your bitching. We have to be bitching about this, this is pure BS, You can say they're not forcing us to watch blah blah, but in reality they have FORCED me to watch this 3hour+ long nonsense, because I don't want to miss the Steph vs STC game.
Fuck man, that does not mean you are being forced. You have a choice. You can go to bed and watch the Vod tomorrow.
Of course it is better to see it live, but would it be better to have no IPL at all?
It's a sign of maturity to have a little gratitude, and not feel entitled that you should get what you want. We live in a very blessed time of SC2 e-sports, so just be happy plz

Just leave the stream on and mute it to support IPL. Meanwhile, you can watch devestation 2011 :D

Well, its a bit unfortunate most europeans will have to drop the rest of the tournement. I was looking forward to watching Stephano in the semis and possibly the finals, but cant stay up for that long. Nothing to do with LoL though, only wish they didnt have something else in between.
Oh well, Stephano fighting !

1. Sucks to be in a bad time zone eh? Maybe tournaments should revolve their schedule completely around Europe.
2. Look at the bright side: this gives Stephano MORE TIME TO PREPARE for his match against STC. And less time to prepare for a potential final... how does it give him less time to prepare for the final? compared to Lucky
If anything it gives him more time to prepare for the final vs lucky as he know that if he makes it to the final he will be playing lucky.
Lucky can't prepare untill he know what he is supposed to prepare for

You don't go to a chess match and complain that there is not enough action, or the pace is not fast enough. Most of you people that whine about it are straight up retarded. Chess matches are usually not scheduled between football games Yes because lol was scheduled to be played now, and you are a retard if you go read up the schedule see lol in there and still expect sc2 to be played. So he's a retard, because he expects sc to be played where sc has been played for 4 days continously. And he's the retarded for not understanding why they put a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT game in the schedule between sc matches. Oooooh, the irony. I guess you shout "you are all retarded!!" while driving on the pavement. )

This is the problem with the sc2 community. They shit on console games during mlg, and now they shit on LoL even though it was on the schedule. This kind of shit is ACTUALLY killing esports. Stop.

There's also the factor of most of the people here complaining about lol have no interest in the players or teams playing and taking that disinterest out on the game itself. Starcraft can be boring if I don't know the people playing and have no interest in that particular match but it doesn't mean the game itself is bad.

haha stephano is about to get bunker rushed like Idra was, lets see how he will respond

What's up with the IGN Prime trial? I signed up for it, and even after I sign in on IPL TV, I still get the pop-up to join IGN Prime after 3 minutes?
