Yes judge the game by the newest players at the lowest levels good choice. Its like judging sc2 while playing against bronze league players.
Well just for the record you'd be pretty good to win all your placement matches and then the next two... you would be playing at least high diamond. I dont think anyone has done that having never played the game.

The game is being broadcasted over to the starcraft 2 stream because all of our games ended ahead of schedule. If you weren't watching LoL you would just be watching the crowd. They are not going to start the games until the scheduled timeslots.
I cant really tell whats going on either. All those mini icons on the bottom center is really confusing. How many characters are there? is it over 30 like DOTA?

Lol can be fun, but many players also say it's bad as a spectator sport...
This mode is indeed a terrible spectator sport because the game time is just too long. Dominion on the other hand is a lot better as a spectator sport because the games last a lot shorter and the deviation is a lot smaller so it is easier to schedule. (Remember the bullshit showmatch earlier today because the two first series were very short. Won't happen with Dominion.
Here is a Youtube VOD of a Dominion game, takes about 20 minutes and is very likely more entertaining then this game. At any rate you won't miss any SC2 by watching this.

They play until the Nexus(final building) is killed. You have 3 outer turrets(they're all dead), three more turrets/towers in each lane after those, and then as you're approaching the base there are 3 more towers(one per lane) on the inside of the base. After those are inhibitors. Killing an inhibitor is a very big advantage and will usually lead in a game ending soon after(but not always).
