Was a nice series, Select's TvP is so impressive. Elfi also looked really good in the game on Tal'darim; he never really forgets anything or lets any mistake go unpunished. His mechanics are tiers below Select though =(

He's so aggressive with drops and has great control in the TvP matchup. Select's army control is meh. He was way cost inefficient all game, just outmacro'd elfi. There's a reason why select is just unable to beat MC ever and that's because MC has good control over his army.

Not sure if trolling :D -- In any case, control aside, I'd say his biggest fail was his decision to take the 4th at 6 instead of 3. This caused him to be out of position a lot, lost his 3rd multiple times, never had a good economy to support his gateway count in the lategame.

I suppose that elfi could have have observer behind is army and when cloaked ghosts were incoming then approach with observer to kill them, but its not very easy since if ghosts back off then they can kill observer again and then you are in problems again. Its not that simple ![]()

This game would have been over in half the time. Select's macro looked really good in that game because Elfi didn't really do much. His 3rd was late, and he could never even really establish a 4th or 5th base well in that game losing so many scvs to a few zealots. If I had to phrase it, I would say his play is a lot more sloppy then top tier terrans in korea.

If you watched select vs alicia in the gsl games you wouldn't be saying that. elfi got to 3/3/3 upgrades which kind of evens out bio vs gateway units and dragged the game out while barely mining. Nice strategy by elfi but his mechanics are just not up to par.

Nvidia makes graphics cards, other companies modify/brand them. ASUS is a very popular manufacturer of stock desktops and laptops alongside hardware. For example, you don't just go buy a GTX580, you buy a *brand* GTX580.

It's sort of hard for a late-game terran army to be cost efficient vs a late-game protoss army, it's hard for any army to be efficient vs a late-game protoss army, that's why select had to outmacro with extra bases and harassment, keeping elfi on 1 - 2 mining bases at all times...
