Yep, casting wow is incredibly difficult, because so much stuff is happening at the same time, and you can't understand it, unless you play fairly well yourself, casting or not.

Because he doesn't play a lot of events outside of LANs (certianly not seriously) so he slips the mind more than guys who's names you see topping weekly cups all the time etc.

I also agree that you need decent game knowledge to cast WoW properly, there's a ton of stuff to keep track of in a really high level game.

I can understand the guy who got infuriated by Rotterdam : if you get upset by something/someone's voice, listening to him for hours can be quite upsetting.
I "didn't come after you", I could have posted my opinion earlier, just did it then, could have done it before, but I gotta start somewhere. What upsets me is that as soon as anyone is a bit critic of a caster or sthg, they get called names "ignorant, no-life, etc", which I think is pretty silly too. This place is a forum : because somebody states an opinion that's different of yours and critical doesn't make you (or other people) entitle to jump on him/her with personal attacks. I don't criticize Rotterdam for personal reasons (once again, he sounds like a great guy), but as a caster, I find him annoying. If we can't state our opinion on a forum, I don't know where we're supposed to do it (and I'm sure tournaments organizer check TL forums to get feedback on things to improve...if nobody ever complains, nothing is ever gonna change - and in this specific case, many people seem to love Rottie so there's no need to worry, but still, we're entitled to tell what we think).
And yeah I know I could turn the sound off and so on, but I could be knitting socks for people in pinguins too, that's beyond my point.
