Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402) |

I am really so interested to see how idra or naniwa or thorzain can do vs these koreans. my personal pick for this tournament is idra. A lot of foreigners seem to suffer a sort of LAN anxiety. Sheth choking up against MMA was a big example of it. Koreans have the experience of sitting in a booth for Code S and Code A on a frequent basis. Foreigners who usually end up playing most if not all tournaments from their desktop have to play against an unfamiliar style in an unfamiliar booth. Haha, it's funny how people call jetlag a bad excuse but no one would ever call this out. Excuses are bad in general, I just want the better player to win, no excuses, no bullshit.
We've seen MC v IdrA with no excuses and no bullshit at Dreamhack. I hope to see them meet again this time. As for whether or not some people are underperforming due to LAN anxiety, tough to say. Sheth seemed to because he has been dodging LANS forever.

I'm not convinced Thorzain is going to be able to take MC in a rematch. Going to be an awesome series though!

Moon is sick good what are you on about

Yesterday was way better with really 2 streams :/

I believe tie breaker is overall game record (though it should be h2h)

sorry I like MC but saying that Idra's win over him meant nothing is utter BS. MC excited from the fans and so he wasn't focused? my god people you come up with the most trivial and minuscule excuses!

Where is my interview with July damn it.

July, MC, Losira, and MMA really are among the best Koreans. You might argue about MVP, Bomber, and Nestea, but that's just like saying instead of bringing all the top Koreans they only have a handful of them - it's still a sample.
And Thorzain, IdrA, Naniwa are certainly among the best foreigners. So the showdown will go down this MLG. It's coming guys.

Indeed. You can't really compare below-the-best foreigners to the best Koreans. That comparison doesn't even make sense. IdrA, Naniwa, Thorzain - they're the real deal when it comes to foreigner pros and it'll be interesting to see how they do when the deciding games come. Too bad more top foreigners, esp. Europeans, didn't attend this MLG. But I think we'll have a good sampling by the end of the tournament. This is not the best Koreans either. No Nestea, MVP, Bomber or MKP. well... it kinda is. its iffy who is the best koreans still. these guys won their spots here by beating their korean counterparts. (i wouldn't disagree in opinion that your picks might be better, especially i think nestea is clearly sick top level korean) but these guys are still basically top koreans youre wrong travis only MMA and MC are top level of those that came MVP, NesTea, Bomber even sC, all still in KR an clearly better than moon, july and losira
well MC and MMA fit with the 2 you listed, so thats 2 of 5 being absolute tippy top. And july and losira are probably still top 10 koreans... so that's 4 out of 5 being pretty sick high level koreans.
(and obv moon is still a good player but I won't disagree that he isn't top... just don't want to take anything from him he's a good sc2 player)

not fair moon lost the game because of jetlag
