Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402)

MC was completely jetlagged. Confirmed in thread by the korean translator Milkis who was with them. He was the worst off out of all of them, when Tasteless took a nap inbetween casts, Losira almost fell asleep in his booth, and MMA slept 2 hours inbetween his matches. People who deny jetlag are just being delusional.

I feel bad for defending Idra, but this is such a bad excuse. If these PROFESSIONAL gamers can't play properly because of jetlag, then they should travel earlier.

MC was a last minute replacement bro. Kinda hard to travel earlier when you weren't even supposed to be there in the first place/
And none of them but Moon had experience with that much of a time difference. Losira/July/MMA were hanging out in bonfires the night they flew into the US while Moon was resting.

So according to you this is no indication of Korean - Foreigner difference skill?

Just accept that no matter what people will make excuses for when a foreigner beats a Korean.

LOL this forum literally lives in a delusional world. They seriously think that jet lag, reported firsthand, is not a reason for suboptimal play. You could SEE Losira falling asleep in his booth and Tasteless talked on stream about how he had to go backstage and pass out for a while, hence why JP covered for him. This is just completely indisputable fact. Are you people seriously just too traumatized from Korea's domination from Brood War to admit the truth?

Anyway, back to the game. I'm tired of arguing this with willfully ignorant people.

Agree with this. I am a big fan of Idra and MC but landed on thursday, get a few hours rest then started playing on Friday is a toughest possible tournament preparation.

Stop. Making. Excuses.

I hadn't previously said anything about how Koreans are better or vice versa, but yes Koreans are historically better overall. They aren't absolute though, and foreigners gain the upper hand every now and then. Hence Dreamhack winter, TSL. Every other tournament where both sides participated, Koreans won.

Against July, who is making so much mutas every game, it's suicide to not get thors imo.

What excuses? The koreans are 14-2 in series won (bout to be 15-2 by the looks of this july sjow match) They're crushing even with the jetlag

Missile Turrets just do better right now. July is harassing with the mutas, not attacking head-on.

See?

A lot of terrans know most from korea/eu though. Thors are pretty good against lots of muta's dunno why lots of terrans don't make 1 to leave in the base xD
