I know drama tends to happen at MLGs, but this feels like it's unusual. Is it?

That said, the way Day9 and Wheat were going on about it made it sound as if they had to get another keyboard for him and that he didn't have an extra on him. I dunno. In other sports, you'd be penalized/disqualified for having malfunctioning equipment.

That's still his keyboard that he needs to keep up-to-date. I mean that keyboard did kind of save him game 1, so it loosing him game 2 isn't an end all. If the issue was the lag however(which to me it seemed to be) it is a whole different thing and very sad(personally I don't think sc2 can be taken seriously if we think lag stutters like that are part of the game). But again, personally I feel the series evened out a bit, but this whole ordeal has just been sad for both players.

It's almost certainly a driver issue which if Losira submitted his keyboard model to MLG as he was required to do so (i assume he did) the problem is out of Losira's and MLG's hands. My guess is the keyboard is one that is #1 made in korea and #2 drivers may be incompatible.

Although if there isn't an actual problem and he does it just to stop the play, it is a Delay of Game penalty.

The game was stuttering and I know it wasn't my stream because I could see LosirA pissed in full 30fps. lol What a timing to use DTs... 3 points of attack at once while LosirA is trying to take a third, elevated frustration levels from hardware and Bnet issues. After realizing how sloppy he was in cleaning up the DTs, you could tell LosirA just wanted to end the game the way he just threw his forces at that ramp. He wanted that game to be over with either way. Just pray for an issue-free game 3. I noticed too. Not sure if it was just casters or what not. I think players felt that lag, since incontrol's drop windows did come up.

The fact that the 3rd was killed while Incontrol got his, is the game breaking thing. Even if Losira just held together, he would be fucked when the 3 base protoss army (that would probably had a +attack/tech/critical mass timming attached to it) moved out or when his 4th triggered the attack. Maybe all the fuckups are because Losira got distracted by the issues, but hey man, that's what being a pro is all about. I've seen counter-strike players aiming with the keyboard due to mouse failure mid round.

Maybe rules weren't communicated well enough.
