It's to ensure that a player actually wins more than the other player before he gets past them. Observe. Idra-MC 2-0. [Bo3] Idra has won twice. If they meet again later and have another Bo3: Idra-MC 2-0. [Bo3] Idra-MC 4-0 total Idra has won four times. Nothing wrong there. But what if MC wins the second time? Idra-MC 0-2. [Bo3] Idra-MC 2-2 total Idra has won twice and MC has won twice. Wait, they're even. Why is MC advancing? See the logic? Ok, now do it with the extended series rule. Idra-MC 2-0. [Bo3] Idra has won twice. Idra-MC 2-0. [Bo7 Idra 2-0+] Idra-MC 4-0 total Idra has won four times. Ok. And again, what happens if MC starts winning in the best of 7? Idra-MC 2-0. [Bo7 Idra 2-0+] Idra-MC 2-4 total Idra has won two times. MC has won 4 times. MC won more, so he deserves to advance. But the logic would only make sense if the whole tournament encompasses these two players. In reality you must consider the tournament as a whole. If player A beats player B, player A is rewarded by advancing, player B is punished by being put into the loser's bracket. Player B won 0 set, lost 1, Player A won 1 set, lost 0 at this point. They are already rewarded and punished accordingly to their result at this point. Now, if player A loses to player C in the winner's bracket, player A is punished by being put into the loser's. If player B advances in the losers to meet player A, they are now both on even grounds. Player A has 1 win 1 loss, player B has 1 win 1 loss. Why should player A get an advantage over player B at this point? Very well put. Although the system is flawed, hopefully everything else runs smoothly. I dont like extended series but this example player C could be the best player of the tournament and Player A has already beaten player B so that is not the same to me. The problem I have with it is where when you get to the final stages and often a loser is in the group stage or the semi final of the winners bracket. I would like a full series for the latter rounds.

This is boring...... Tastosis has much better dead-time banter... I want Tasteless ladder stories

Might have to restart the computer for the new keyboard and/or drivers to take effect

Hey Blizzard, thanks for the fantastic game that you obviously have no fucking idea with what you're doing. Why are you even watching? Because he wants to WATCH the game but is frustrated by the lack of LAN support? Bingo. There is no reason why, at this point in the lifespan of the game, they couldn't implement LAN. Especially when Blizzard is trying to get aboard the "e-Sports" train. The whole piracy argument is stupid. People will still pirate the game if they want, which is why last year SC2 had something like 3 million illegal downloads. At this point it's either ignorance or sloth on their end, there is no other reason. It makes piracy a hell of a lot harder though cause you'd still need to get/fake a bnet account. That 3mil could be a lot more.

Good news... now we get to see a game that relies on actual skill rather than playing out of the box... BE HAPPY!!!!!

Red and Blue stream are the same thing (only one should be running if there is only one real stream going on) Incontrol vs. LosirA (TT1 vs Jinro all over again)
Does the HD Pass even remove commercials by the way?
How is the stream thing even a problem? And how are they failing? Stop bitching for bitchings sake. :>

I wonder which nonexistent language LosirA's keyboard was typing in. Sounds like a good cryptographic generator!

Poor InControl; he had a really good position there.

a keyboard is like a tennis racquet. you don't just lose a tennis match if you break a racquet, you replace it.
