afaik Select has only recently come to the US so that he can skip military service. All that matters is that he practices on US though, now let that be the last post on the topic and may the games friggin BEGIN !

Idra at his best was better than ElkY and Grrrr at their bests. Its the same as saying Flash is the greatest Terran of all time even though players like Nada had more success. Whether Idra was better than Nony or Ret is a valid question though. Also this Nationality talk comes up every time SeleCt plays. What does it matter? As far as I know he was born in Korea but has lived in the US for a number of years to study (he might be finished studying now). I don't know what that makes him, and although I don't think it matters I think it is up to Select to decide what he considers himself to be. Haha, Artosis got so excited about that speedling control his voiced cracked like a 14 year old boy.

Select is Korean, born in Korea, raised in Korea, studying in the US. This does not make him an American. How hard is it for people to comprehend this?

I mean if he manages to beat some korean pro gamer ( playing in korea ), that shows that they arent that ahead in terms of practise - learning over in korea . Makes me happy knowing both scenes are close and we re able to see some "upsets" in the future aswell ![]()
