EU have had much more small weekly tournaments than NA since the beta and I do think that's at least partly the reason why EU is slightly ahead atm.

Im not sure about how the general game-o-sphere is in EU, but another obstacle I see for America is the seeming FPS preference in competitive gaming and prevalence in general gaming culture. Also, if SC2 became too popular, it would also me a loud chunk of our population would start to claim SC2 creates gang generals and prepares our kids for drug wars and, sex, and rock and roll.

http://sc2na.zotac-cup.com/de/statics/faq Who can participate in the ZOTAC StarCraft II Cup? Everybody who has an original version of StarCraft II can participate in the ZOTAC StarCraft II Cup and has an account for the Europe Server, from beginners to casual gamers and from amateurs to professionals. Each of the players is invited to take part. Should say North American Server right?

Just check the countdown on the page^^ On May 12 2011 01:01 Telcontar wrote: Can people in Europe participate? I tried searching for the info but couldn't find it. Of course people from Europe can compete BUT they need a North American StarCraft II account to participate ![]() On May 12 2011 03:37 DomiNater wrote: You guys have a typo in Your NA FAQ http://sc2na.zotac-cup.com/de/statics/faq [...] Thanks a lot man - fixed it ![]()
