I really don't like these slanted camera angles, it doesn't look good at all. The same goes for the effects, I think it looks much better and professional just watching it straight up. There seems to be a grey block where the table used to be. Strange.

Backwater Gulch isn't THAT bad, the issue is taking the third base, but there are a lot of interesting terrain features and some decent games on it.

Certainly a hell of a lot better than the old ladder maps, or even some of the other current ladder maps.

I like how they're making an effort with the camera. Television programmes are very clever with the camera and constantly changing what you are looking at. This is because it is scientifically proven that we lose interest easily by looking at the same image. That's why they try to change the angle and perspective every few seconds.

But i think for this particular thing, it would just be better to have a simple straight forward setup. Unlike TV shows, they only have one camera (I believe anyway) and next to none of the production available, plus the main reason why people come here to watch this at the end of the day is to watch Starcraft and that's pretty much all we want. The rest is a bonus. So i think people will be perfectly fine with the extras being basic.

Watching the pre-game show on mute while listening to TB's IPL cast and seeing how close the audio matches up with iNc's voice has been the funniest part of my week..

Man I just tuned in to the last minute of the pregame and the angles for just a dude sitting there talking is very offputting.
