I wouldn't go so far to say Grubby played amazing. It was more Fenix making some serious, serious mistakes. >_>

Are you kidding me? He was baiting Fenix into throwing away vikings the whole game. Grubby was able to throw off Fenix's positioning and contain the whole game. Grubby won that game through plain and simple brilliance.

I don't think Fenix saturated all his bases? And like Gretorp is saying, one shouldn't only be on 6 raxes when you're on 5 bases.

May be Fenix was queuing stuff. That's the only way to explain it.

Grubby's micro was nice. But Fenix's macro crashed and his decision making was just terrible. He needed to do something, he waited far too long.

Except he stacked his bio units against high templars. The Hts barely had enough energy, but he waited a very long time to gi in.

It felt like Fenix's heavy low-tech army eventually just got overwhelmed by Grubby's higher tech/lower food army.

Fenix didn't seem to have a transition into late game fully fleshed out while grubby did.

WOW grubby is so good

Grubby let himself fall to 1-2 base against a 4-5 base Terran player with a bunker/siege tank/turret contain. I'd say it's much more fail by Fenix.

The baiting of the vikings constantly was very nice by Grubby. He must have killed like 7+ when they went chasing collosus.

True. Grubby had some great micro moments. But, again, that's probably more of a Fenix fail than Grubby win. Gotta control your units better if you want to win NASL

its a grubby win, if he wasn't microing the vikings wouldn't have moved at all

You call that good position? He stacked all his units in a choke point letting the storms and splash damage from the colossus demolish his army.

I think Fenix set up the contain and then didn't realise what to do next - he got ahead of himself and forgot to build production facilities and tech TO GHOSTS!

Contains work, but don't win you the game. There is no excuse for sitting your entire Bio army in storms or being on 5 bases with no production. Also poor Viking Control, Fenix ended up losing 3-4 Viking by superior baiting/micro from Grubby

that was such an epic game, not sure whether it can be counted as a comeback or not though :o

I'm actually pleased with the program so far, other than a couple hiccups at the beginning. Seems like vast improvements have been made so far.

Sitting inside storms are what they used to be.

I agree, Fenix sat there while Grubby got the tech he needed to crack the contain. Not only that, the bio force sat in 2-3 storms. Even if it was Marauder heavy, that isn't going to work.
