I'm sad to see S1 start like this, after the MLG fiasco you'd think organisers make this a priority... I didn't see a fraction of a lag even when it peaked at 52 000 viewers. This gotta be an issue local to the NASL HQ. I hope they fix it soon [:

it's actually fine now for me

It's a shame, I'm sure the vods wouldn't lag but if you can't give me a stable restream on the lowest resolution I guess I'm not convinced. D:

Lag actually seems to be getting worse. This is so hard to watch.

I think people should take into consideration that Dreamhack was held on ONE single day and was obviously easier to handle with HD and all, took less preparation etc etc... NASL though, is a lot more expensive and more or less a daily format. I presume it's handled by a smaller team aswell. They are probably working their asses off as we speak to fix this lag issue. Give them a bit of breathing space.

Decided to tune in since people were having so many problems with the lag. Last night I watched the entire thing in 480p with very minor(1-2 5 second hiccups). Tuning into the stream for the EU broadcast and it's constantly lagging, won't go 5 seconds without the video freezing.
Something definitely changed from last night to today. Hopefully they fix it quickly.

Looks like the lag is gone finally.
|
Well but the justin.tv stream for dreamhack was quite bad as well (not as bad as this NASL one though). They generally seem to be having some problems in europe
|
There's almost no lag left for me.
|
very laggy for me in the US. I watched it last night with no issues though. This is game 3 on right now
|
now the lag ist gone
|
Imo it's Justin.tv that sucks hard. I would not be surprised if they limit their bandwith on non american streaming hours to reduce expenses. + I can't change stream more than 3 times a day. After that it tells me I have to pay, HD or not. + There,is bugs with the"best" resolution.
Oh and 25$ ? Really ? Higher than GSl with this lag ? wtf

As much breathing space as you would want for them, it seems like they didn't even test restreaming their broadcast from one day to the next. They just assumed it would work if the main broadcast worked. Clearly not the case. I'm not saying OMG NASL IS HORRIBLE, but seems like they did no testing for this.

The NASL justin.tv stream worked fine yesterday...in EU.....so dunno whats up
|
so sad. i really really wanted to watch this on my bed with a nice drink and just lay back. not sure if tune in the next days. maybe they are able to fix it in a few month....

Stream is perfect now, was so into the game I didn't notice ^_^
Gj NASL.

Justin.tv is shit, I dont understand why people use it
|
Seems to be a video FPS issue (I assume they are just replaying a video file from last night).

Stream is fine now. Not perfect (feels like 15 fps), but its okay!
for me.
