Pro tip: click "Hide Chat" and live a happier life. Your viewing experience will be exponentially better.
If you feel like you're missing something, I'll summarize the entire chat for you: "LOL [insert either caster here] TOTALLY SUCKZORZ!!! NASL IS AWFUL!" "[inane rambling] can't get HD!!!! [inane rambling]"
The other .01% is people actually commenting on the games.

I caught something on the stream during the lobby chat while game 1 of Sheth vs. Artosis was counting down. Sheth was making some joke about having gone to Korea and having kidnapped Tasteless -- the obvious implication being that Nick would be hurt if Artosis beat Sheth
When Sheth took the series, he was just referencing that again, as in 'Thanks for letting me win; I'll let Nick go now'.

Cmon Kiwi you can win this.

FUCK Gretorp stop hurting my ears.
I want to be able to hear Incontrol talk without you screeching a punishment every time the armies clash >_<

He has an accent which may or may not deter viewers - although it may be small, over a long period of time it gets extremely annoying. Regardless, his accent does not help him. Nice comeback. Very detailed response as to why Gretorp is a terrible caster.

This is the LR thread. Please, for the love of Waru, talk about the games. Don't whine about the casters. There will be plenty of opportunity to give constructive criticism later, in a place where the people involved will actually read what you have to say. Hold in your righteous indignation, and do it then.
This Public Service Announcement is presented to you by the Starcraft Fan Anti-Whining Association. Thank you.

Just feel these casters aren't bringing the same excitement... I almost... feel like the casters have watched the games beforehand so they are trying to act surprised at times. Not sure if that is accurate or not though.
That's not accurate. But I agree, they're not doing anything to make this exciting. They also DEFINITELY need to improve the sound quality, have some music during the beginning/after games. and they need to get MUCH higher quality mic's. The casters almost sound bored in my opinion.

Man people can bitch about anything. These two are great. How are you not just ecstatic that NASL is actually here.... sc2 is beginning to launch in the west and you're bitching about gretorp being excited?... or his voice rubs you the wrong way? Get over it. These guys are integral to e-sports right now. Be supportive. Constructive criticism is obviously warranted at times, but 90% of what people have said in here is just whining. Be thankful

We are trying to enjoy this event and do not care if you aren't. I'm sorry you felt so offended by my comment and I hope I didn't ruin this series, but I don't find gretorp funny or even smart as a player or casters and I do believe this experience would be a lot better with any other caster. I hate awkwardness and the non-existent synergy between these two caster is making me shrivel with awkwardness. ok then:
Stop watching the stream, and get out of this thread!

Get out This comment is so ironic No. I'm seriously wondering if Kelly is available to replace Gretorp. I would be infinitely happier. haha me too seriously, it would be alot better, i think her and inc could have some actually decent back and forth.
that semi aggresive back and forth between inc and gretorp wasnt very friendly, fairly unproffesional too you never hear that.

It's not that their bored, it's that their "excitement level" is subpar. They could be the most excited people in the entire world but they don't have the personality.

I can't believe Crossfire is used so often in tournaments still. It's a great map for any match up not involving zerg. Every Zerg is at a disadvantage on this map (imo) bc of all the ledges and chokes.

It depends on context and how it's handled.
"I think Protoss has this!" "I dunno, Burrow's almost done, Zerg can stall and hold it I think."
Feels fine to me.
I love the Day9 daily to death, but his "u-huh, u-huh" over his co-caster just gets to me.

Good showing for Fenix who kinda wasn't doing so well as of late.

Fenix is supply blocked at 70. This happened two games in a row, he just misses that depot.

20 marines, 3 tanks w/ seige and 2 scv push crushes the expo of kiwi. That wasn't pretty.
