Currently both the ticket buyers and freeloaders like me are viewing the game from the same URL. But I believe the non ticket buyers will not have the option of increasing the quality to 1080p by clicking directly on the screen and choosing the "Best" option.

But it misleading because the cast and the game is edited and rebroadcast at a later time. TSL, on the other hand casts the game from replays but cast is TRULY live since we are viewing the casters commentating as it happens. This is because desynching issues has become pretty common in trying to do casting live. We saw sound desynching in the clash of the titans show match, and even the TSL3, sometimes you'd catch day9 seeing things and stating it before it actually happens on stream because djwheat was behind and was the observer. stuff like that happens and this way it can both ensure higher quality stream being released having edited out any anomalies but it also prevents things like "whoops moon disconnected 5 minutes in and lost internet, lets wait around for 2 hours to see if he comes back". all technical issues can be solved prior to release. Not a bad idea.

Well, there are 2 meaning of cast i think In my opinion, what NASL is doing is live Shoutcast as the casters are live in the game with the players as it was happening thus live cast what TSL is doing is live Broadcast as the content are delivered live to us thus live cast.

It is just that you will not see the replay options within the UI because they cast the games as they were being played.

Was fearing my stream would become HQ pass exclusive when the games started. ![]()
