One boring game after another. Warpgate tech seriously needs to be tweaked and considerably slowered if Blizzard wants vP matchups to be more entertaining than they are right now.
Its actually to the point that it really hurts the watchability of games. It literally hurts my eyes.

It doesnt even matter whether warpgate tech being this fast is too strong or not, its strong enough that many top players decide to warpgate rush instead of playing a proper game and this fact alone is a problem in my opinion.

On a side note, i think its embarassing for top players to abuse that crap just because its possible.
Several protosses that i wanted to see play awesomly, just cheesed utilizing warpgate rush, won their game, and essentially robbed their fans and viewers of an opportunity to watch them shine.
Instead we watched them cheese. Well done guys!

Nothing wrong with warpgates, the bunkers need to be at the top of the ramp and and you need to scout your base, building depots around the edges. If you don't do those things, the protoss 4 gating will win. If you do, the protoss loses. That's it.

Protoss pro's are punishing terrans for being sloppy/greedy... nothing more. Not a balance issue.

Read the post again and tell me what exactly the post has to do with balance. Nothing.
Readingcomprehensionisgood.

Read it again and try to understand what you read before you reply, seriously.
Ill give you a hint, if the terran manages to block the warpgate rush, its basically over and the result is the same, a boring game.
Whether the rush wins the protoss the game or not doesnt matter, in both cases the game is boring.

With this in mind, read the post again and try to address the real point of the post.

That's actually very funny. They must have the quality dynamically assigned to be almost clear when we're staring at the casters, but then when the game loads it turns to pixelated wonder.

It's a static image, not very funny at all. It's called logic.

What, the casters are actually puppets stuck in an image? Mind blown.

Not trying to disrespect either JP or Wheat here, I actually think JP is pretty legit. Wheat's commentary also is pretty funny, but in fact he's just wrong so much. I mean, he just compared Moon and Grubby and said Grubby seems to be a lot stronger and established. Yet, he has not actually achieved or accomplished anything. Don't get me wrong, I've been a huge fan of him since 2006, but I think Moon has shown a lot more integrity than Grubby, being 2nd at IEM for example.
Another example would be him saying HuK didn't do anything special, completely ignoring the fact the guy used a warp prism to WARP HIS ARMY IN THE BACK OF THE ENEMY'S FRIGGIN BASE AND ACTUALLY GET IT DONE!

Again, I don't want to hate on either of them, it's not like it's horrible or something. I just think that a tournament of as much importance as MLG should have S class commentators.

I don't think you know what bo wins mean, this is huk scouting the terran and preparing an easy counter.

yea he showed decent decision making there, but huk was 4 gating a fast expanding terran; point of my post was that the huk praise was a bit ott

The point of my post, is that when someone uses the term bo wins, its when another player blindly/luckily counters another players build. This did not happen.

ah so u were being stupid and pedantic. fair enough.

Actually you're being pedantic, and he was explaining his opinion. Just FYI.

mmm.. yes. I agree, shallow and pedantic.

I think it comes down to researching whose playing. Wheat values just casting over any background work (other than watching GSL), whereas Day analyzes them all

It's a CONSPIRACY!!!

Too much Deus Ex for me xD

Other than that, that is an interesting observation.

Oh well, stream is so far working fine. I hope I didn't jinx it...

Does anyone know how did AtheneWins go?

AtheneWins didn't show. He doesn't actually play StarCraft 2.

So much talk, and so little games shown -_-
I like the hype, but this is too much - the poor commentators just need to sit there saying the same things over and over, becuse they also need to wait so long for the games to start.

Dont understand why they dont have a game ready almost as soon as one is over. Just like they had at IEM, where they usualy had 2 matches ready on the stage, so when 1 finished... next match started.

Please enlighten us as to who these S class commentators are. Please don`t say Day9 because he spews as much BS as anyone when it comes to trying to be objective about players. He is only great at analyzing games.
