This is the best MLG yet!
What's next?
Ret vs Huk, or TLO vs Kiwi?

Hmm.... I play Zerg and I'll tell you that had Idra built the fucking counter to stalkers, he would have won. Frankly Idra's plan that he could destroy Naz with harass was silly and all in.
Tech switch to hydras with overlords/overseers to spot would have ended the push (which was all in from the start), thus ending the game.

Pathetic Haha good thing to say on the site he runs bro. Yeah. But doesn't change the fact that it was a tad pathetic. Sorry maybe I'm just too oldschool.
Get outta here you made your account last week, and you're saying you're too old school? Anyone who is old school would recognize that Nazgul's play was smart and took advantage of the situation they were in. HE is oldschool, nazgul was a top BW player before you picked up the copy of the game. He played smart and he forced his way through, that was the right play to make, don't hate on him and then try to talk down on people.

Both players played well, but only one can advance. Yes.
Although I'm happy to see the upset and to see Naz move on, I really hope Idra goes through the loser's bracket. I believe he can do it too if he regains his focus. Don't give up Idra!

I mean, IdrA is obviously not familiar with this particular blink build, falling to it against nony recently as well. It's pretty difficult for handle a well-refined timing push that you have little to no practice against, even for someone as good as IdrA.
Also, kulas either is incredibly imbalanced or at least requires a completely different playstyle ZvP, as this game showed. There wasn't much IdrA could do about blinking between the low ground and the high ground above his natural.

Moar all in plz. If it weren't for the previous match I wouldn't even be sure Toss know they can play for more than 10 minutes.
Though IdrA probably should have taken that third game. And been prepared for this, considering his games vs Tyler.

Pretty disappointed frankly. Nazgul 4gate all-in'd with blink stalkers all 3 matches, i expected more. I'm sure Idra probably would've won if not for thinking 'nazgul wouldnt 4gate me every match would he?... " if it works why not do it? It didn't work g2.
It was Idra's map pick. There's no reason not to try the build, anything non-aggressive is going to lose you the game versus a Zerg of Idra's caliber.
1) it might work 2) it will show Idra's response to your build on a map where you're likely to lose anyway 3) it's practice to get the timings down even better 4) it might make Idra think he won't go the same build in round 3.
Doing some other build on Scrap wouldn't have been productive at all.

If he could get hydra out he could have had FG as well, really sucks to see a high caliber player lose to such a cheap cheap strategy in a BO3. I know its all about winning but at what cost, so you have 1 good cheese build thats great. What are you going to do in the next series, and the series after that when people know exactly how to counter it. I hate seeing anyone win in that fasion, just abused a cheap strategy, but I'm equally disappointed that Idra didn't really adapt his play to it at all. Maybe Nazgul knew Idra would be so cocky that he wouldn't even change his play up and thats why he did it 3 times in a row... but man that felt really stupid and cheap to watch.
There's always one...if the game doesn't go on for 45 minutes and have 4 bases some no hoper will call it stupid, cheap or boring.
