Where: US Server,Players will need to meet in my IRC channel at 1:30pm where all communication will be done. I will post a link in this post the day of the tournament. Please choose a nickname as close to your SC2 name as possible.
Who: Anybody and I do mean anybody to a maximum of 64 players. I am sure backups will be needed so continue to sign up please.
Prize: $100 via paypal to 1st place. This comes out of my own pocket so of course donations are greatly appreciated.
All games will be a best of 1 up to the round of 8 where they will be a best of 3 and the finals will be a best of 5. The winner of the match will be responsible for private messaging me in the IRC channel stating both the winner and loser of the match. I will also handle disputes as they arise.
Map Pool: Lost Temple, Metalopolis, Xel’Naga Caverns, Delta Quadrant, Scrap Station, Steppes of War, Blistering Sands
Players will decide on the first map by taking turns picking a map to veto. From the round of 16 on loser will pick the second map.
Brackets will be posted the day of the tournament and all rounds will be played simultaneously. For example, Round 2 matches can’t be started until the Round 1 matches have ended and I have updated the brackets. Sorry everyone this is for my convenience.
