I havent been super impressed with either his micro or macro

And fantasy, no disrespect to him, is not as strong an opponent as Jaedong, Bisu or Flash when they came up against Stork. Also, Stork's playing stronger than ever before. He SHOULD take the OSL. Yeah, but in the case of Jaedong, we didn't know how good his ZvP was (it had been terrible up until that point). Who had heard of Mind's TvP when he beat Bisu in the MSL final a few seasons ago? This is tough to call. I'm gonna say Fantasy gets outplayed the entire series but somehow wins it 3-2

I'd heard (and watched) a lot it was tvz that was his untested/bad matchup. He was a lot like midas in that he was known more for his tvp than tvz. If you watched some of his replays, it was surprising he beat bisu, but it wasnt completely out of left field. I mean its a similar story with jaedong. He wasnt known for his zvp, thats for sure, but he was already known for his dominant play. And stork wasnt known for his dominant pvz any more than jaedong for his zvp. In this situation with fantasy vs stork, you have a fairly strong player not known for his tvp vs a really strong player playing at perhaps his best known as the best pvt in the world. For bisu vs savior, bisu came out of left field and had three big things going for him: savior was already slumping, Bisu had crazy crazy mechanics, and a new and highly effective build that countered savior and 3 hatch muta. But stork isnt slumping, Fantasy's mechanics are good but not super impressive, and his creative build is for tvz. If he either brings his mechanics up (which is possible), or comes up with a revolutionary tvp strat (less possible) he can win. Otherwise stork has an advantage. honestly, you guys made all these comparisons to past upsets and missed the best one. jaedong vs forgg. Jaedong was playing at or near his best, it was arguably his strongest matchup, and no one had heard of forgg's tvz. The difference is everyone knew about forgg's absolutely sick macro. so fantasy needs to improve his play significantly or hope for stork to falter in order to win. Both are possible.

I think that everybody was calling him bonjwa after he owned nada on terran favored maps.

I mean vs nada he was great, but if you go back and watch the games surrounding that, you can see a decrease in his play from december. Im not saying he was slumping, and that actually had little to do with his loss. Just miswrote or something. But I dont think savior was at his peak when he played bisu
